We are an arts charity that relies on our supportive network of volunteers and donations from our supporters, such as the Bampton Shop, to provide our extensive exhibitions programme, engaging workshops, and local collaborations.
Volunteer at the gallery
We would love to hear from you if you are interested in volunteering with us. Our volunteers are an engaged and friendly community, and you will be supporting a vibrant arts space and local talented artists in getting their work exhibited. You do not need to have an arts background to join us, we are keen to hear from anyone who wishes to support us!
We have lots of different volunteering opportunities, from joining our roster of volunteer sitters with responsibilities for welcoming visitors and taking payments, to roles helping with tasks like hanging exhibitions, running workshops, and administrative tasks.

Become a trustee
We are run by our dedicated Trustees and Committee members, who all volunteer their time to oversee the running of our gallery. We are very keen to hear from anyone who has the opportunity to join our monthly meetings to support the management of the charity.
We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to get involved, but especially would love to add to our skillsets in human resources, fundraising, marketing and publicity, IT, charity governance, and community engagement. We are keen to increase the diversity of perspectives and background on our Trustee and Committee Boards, and welcome all applicants!
Financial support and giftsFor us to exist, we must thrive financially, to not only be able to run our exhibitions and events, but also to maintain our building, invest in activities to raise our profile, and ensure our staff our paid and supported. We welcome donations and gifts from anyone who wishes to help promote an appreciation of the arts in West Oxfordshire. Please get in touch via [email protected] if you would like to support us.

- photography at events
- workshop hosting - as an artist who may be able to volunteer their time to run or assisting in co-ordinating new activities
- sitting at the gallery during opening hours, especially weekends
- grant applications and fundraising
- offering talks, lectures, and new and interesting ideas for promoting and increasing participation in the arts
