Our first exhibition of 2021 and we can't wait

Our 9 exhibiting arts for this year's artweeks bring us a collection of works spanning the visual arts.

With first time exhibitors and seasoned pros we look forward to welcoming our artists and visitors alike as we celebrate and showcase art in Oxfordshire.

Caroline Nixon |lives in a 19th century card shed with a garden crammed with dye plants | has a robin as a studio assistant | started her second career as a textile artist and teacher after retiring as a GP.

Silvi Schaumloeffel | contemporary oil painter | gains creative input from places close by: the local ditch, abandoned garden, village allotment | has a dedicated studio space in a old cowshed!

Jenny Baxter | mainly works with sterling silver with and without gemstones and bead | creates from her home workshop

Debbie Page | ceramicist

Faye Knight | works from the roof space of a barn | describes her work as contemporary impressionism | is most excited when starting a new piece as the mystery of how it will develop

Hannah Vickery | loves to incorporate text and collage | inspired by the natural world, poetry and literature | her work is abstract, intuitive and organic

Julia Ogborne | has a Blue Peter Badge | worked as an art teacher in a prison for over 12 years | inspired by the sea

John Seaton | inspired by local scenes, historic views and countrywide in the style of pre-war railway posters | works with gouache

Sarah Darby | paints from her attic where she also runs a design and photographic studio | did a solo cycling expedition through remote Patagonia | paints en-plein air
