NATASHA FOX
Originally from north Wales and now in the Cotswolds, inspired by colour, the coast, a little chaos and how urban and natural environments coexist, most of my work is on canvas or paper. I tend to use palette knives and sponges and I like working on a mixture of small and large paintings and focus on creating abstract pieces using acrylic paint and occasionally inks.
My late Mum was a fantastic hobby artist. She worked with oils, and I grew up surrounded by her creativity but convinced I couldn't do it. Shortly before she died, she, and her extensive collection of art materials, moved in with us. I inherited these, and I kept it all, perhaps I knew one day I would want to try. Eventually I did, and I was fortunate to have a ready made studio of materials to experiment with, and over time I have developed my own style that has been part of my bereavement journey. I hope others feel that my art is emotional and thought provoking, and I aim to represent colour and movement. Website: www.natashafoxart.com Instagram: @natasha.fox.art |
