Mel Wyatt

Mel Wyatt founded Lemanie Limes to pursue her passion for creating mixed media abstract paintings as a celebration of the beauty of wild animals found in the natural world. 

Each canvas has a diverse use of colours, textures, and materials that imbues wild animals’ strength, grace and energy, whilst conveying the intricate balance of the ecosystem in which they live. Through bold strokes and layers, Mel seeks to express the connection between humanity and wilderness.

It is Mel’s hope that by abstracting animal forms, these paintings become more than just decorative pieces, but cherished additions breathing life into living spaces that we call home. In so doing it may prompt some self-reflection and maybe even inspiring a deeper commitment to wildlife preservation. 

Mel works from her studio at her cottage in the North Wessex Downs area of outstanding natural beauty.
