Anna concentrates on hand built earthenware and stoneware figures, garden planters and lamps, coloured with commercial stains and underglazes. Inspiration derives from many sources; from Greek and Roman sculpture through to the paintings and sculpture of Picasso, Chagall, Botero, Brancusi, Renoir and Stanley Spencer. Theatre, dance and the circus provide material for her interest in movement and balance.
Has exhibited widely at the Mall Galleries, Luxters Fine Art, Century Gallery Henley, the Borlase Gallery and the Modern Artists Gallery, Whitchurch, and at Noott 20th Century Gallery at Broadway, Worcs. Also exhibits regularly as part of the Oxford Artweeks Festival in Bampton with Lesley Williams. Member of Royal Society of British Artists, (winner of 1990 RBA Annual Sculpture Award). Member of Oxford Art Society, West Oxford Art Society, Oxford Sculpture Group. Exhibited at the 2001 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and has shown work for many years with RBA at the Mall Galleries and at the Henley Festival. Exhibited at The Discerning Eye Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, November 2008. The Alfred Daniels Award for Narrative work from The Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition 2013.
