I am a Dutch artist based in the Cotswolds in the UK.
My main interest and passion is drawing.

When I arrived from the Netherlands to the UK in 1990 I felt immediately inspired by the process of making Etching's because I could draw my images directly on a piece of waxed copper or zinc and when the process was finished I could produce multiple original prints of the same drawing.

I then started to get interested in making Collograph's because it is a far more direct process involving cutting an image straight into the cardboard or pasting materials on top of the cardboard like a collage and then make prints from this plate.
Linocut is an other medium which I enjoy because of the bold result that I can achieve from this technique.

Because of my love of drawing I developed also a series of colour pencil drawings and pastels and pen and Ink and water colour pieces.
From my latest work I have commissioned a tea towel and a mug.
Here are some samples of my art with the various techniques I have used.
