My art is inspired by walking and sketching in nature 
My semi abstracted paintings evoke my emotional memory of the experience of being absorbed and exhilarated by my surroundings, and I hope the viewer will sense the exuberance and delight that inspire my work. Cornish seascapes, Dorset coasts, the cosmos, the Chilterns and the Vale of White Horse have all inspired me these last 12 months. 
I regularly travel to Cornwall to study with Ashley Hanson who recently sold a painting in the Royal Academy summer exhibition, and find Lewis Noble to be a great source of motivation and experimentation. 
I exhibit with Abingdon Artists and take part in Oxfordshire Artweeks as a solo exhibitor in Abingdon. 
I work in acrylic and mixed media.
