Leilani Jeevaratnam

As a self-taught, intuitive artist with a passion for creating new and distinctive art, Leilani enjoys working in a variety of paint mediums. She begins her paintings without a predetermined outcome in mind, which allows for the free flow of emotion, translating thought and feeling for others to share and enjoy.
Art enables Leilani to communicate her inmost love for life in full and vibrant colour. Through the interplay of colour and the emotional connection, she wishes to express her own inner peace and joy.
Leilani now works mainly in oils and acrylics but has been experimenting with cold wax medium and oil.
She was co-chair of the Abingdon Artists  and exhibits with them regularly, and also with a group of artists at the Oxfordshire Art weeks in  Brightwell-cum-sotwell.
