Helena palmer

Helena first began painting at the beginning of 2021 and hasn’t stopped since.

Helena’s main passion is portraiture, capturing the spirit of a person, with a particular focus on queer, fat, and otherwise marginalised bodies. She is self-taught and works from her kitchen in her flat in West Oxfordshire. She works primarily in acrylic, oils, and digitally.

Helena is currently working through her ‘100 Portraits’ series, creating 100 diverse portraits digitally using Procreate.
