Dinah Trowbridge

I am a self-taught artist, born and working in Oxford, and I started painting in 2021.  I work mostly in gouache and acrylics and love to paint landscapes including Oxford, Dorset, Cornwall, Provence, and Tuscany.  I also draw and paint portraits of children, adults and animals.
My paintings are typically very colourful, and often contain references to artists that I admire.  I am still developing my style and have started to experiment with mixed media and more abstract themes.
I am a member of Oxfordshire Artweeks and exhibited for the first time in May 2024.  I am also a member of West Oxon Arts.  You will find me exhibiting and selling my works in Oxfordshire, (Summertown, Headington, Woodstock and Bampton amongst other places) during the year.

During 2021-2024 I worked on commissions including a baby portrait and pets and houses.  In 2024 I was commissioned to design a book cover for a book about the music festival in Aix, France.
