Debbie Howard
I am a mixed media artist and potter living and working in Witney, Oxfordshire. My daily
life revolves around creativity in one form or another and my intention is always to look
at everything with curiosity. My work is heavily influenced by my love of travel and the
interesting places I have visited, as well as my own personal inner journey as I navigate
what it means to be human.
I have a particular interest in the process of art journaling as a tool for self reflection
and personal development. I teach expressive art and hold creative retreats in my
home studio.
I also enjoy working with clay, producing a range of hand built ceramic tableware as
well as quirky decorative pieces. My current body of work is inspired by the plants in my
garden, using various leaves to add texture and pattern.
In my free time I love to cook, spend time outdoors and watch the world go by from the
back of a motorbike! I have a menagerie of pets that keep me company while working
from home, including 2 pugs, a siamese cat, chickens and ducks.​
