David is a London born contemporary artist who moved to the Cotswolds eight years ago to work within and be inspired by its beauty. His paintings have a unique style and an undercurrent of surrealism. David’s medium is oil and he loves to create narrative, drama and atmosphere.

A three year foundation course of classical techniques at the renowned Lavender Hill Atelier in Clapham under the tutelage of Scott Polschmidt fulfilled a long time ambition of learning to paint. Commissions during this period encouraged him to follow his growing passion into a change of career.

In 2019 a number of David’s original paintings and prints were acquired by Coast Gallery, California and now feature at their stunning Big Sur location on Highway 1.
