Diana's Weekly Blog Post

11/10/2015

After a break of four weeks my life drawing has deteriorated dramatically.  I managed to make Arthur look like a Giacometti figure, perhaps as a result of Peruvian dust in my eyes, still lingering after the desert like conditions we encountered.  Lifers please remember next monday (16th) will be the last until February 1st.  How will we survive?

With Christmas relentlessly approaching, our programme is slowing down slightly but we still have lots to enjoy.  Gill and Kathy have a Sketchbook Workshop next Monday.  If you hurry, there are still a few places left.  I confess I have not used a sketchbook since leaving college which probably accounts for my lack of progress all round!  Next week also sees the start of the Christmas Fair so remember to come in and enjoy shopping in a quiet, restful environment.  I couldn't believe the traffic in Witney last Friday.  How will we cope?
