Dear Fellow Members

Now that Wimbledon is over I expect the weather will improve!  Next week we have an extra curricular life drawing session, fortunately unaffected by the weather.   Ian has organized this to keep us all in practice and the model is Pauline, who I think I have yet to draw.  I look forward to this, but as usual I will probably not do her justice!  The times are slightly different, starting at 10.15 am and finishing by 12.45.p.m.  

Monday is a busy day as the afternoon is taken up with Laura's Beginners Jewellery Workshop. I am looking forward to learning the tricks of the trade.  I haven't got very far with my efforts for the Members Exhibition, but have lots of ideas!  At the moment I am divided between Barbara Rae and Georgia O'Keeffe for my inspiration.  A trip to Tate Modern is essential.  (Any excuse!)
