NEW - GIFT SHOP PAGE
Have a quick look at our new Gift Shop page to give you a taster of what's available in the gallery shop! We now stay open between exhibitions so you can browse and buy from our wonderful range of handmade gifts - prints, cards, ceramics, jewellery, woodturning and more - whether there is an exhibition on or not!
Miriam Taylor's drawings, on beautiful paper, are made using various media employing highly abstracted and reductionist marks.
Complex textures emerge, perhaps only from dots and dashes, with the whole having a contemplative and distilled quality.
Dick Budden's woodcarving uses a lyrical process whereby the log gradually acquires form as its outer layers are peeled back.
He compares his work with jazz improvisation: carefully balancing a combination of experience and instinct.
West Ox Arts Gallery is a bright and inspiring venue showcasing the work of contemporary artists, designers, and craftmakers. Our aim is to provide a stimulating experience in the visual arts. We are situated on the first floor of the Grade II listed Town Hall in Bampton, Oxfordshire; a picturesque Cotswold town that is famous as the fictitious Downton Village, about five miles from Witney.
Enjoy free admission, four hours' free parking directly outside, disabled access and free wi-fi.
