Let's Talk! - Professional Development

Picture
Topic: Creating a simple, easy to use, FREE website

Thursday 27 June, 6 - 8pm at the West Ox Arts Gallery
£3 for WOA members & £5 for non-members

Light refreshments provided   |  Please book in advance  |  Pay on the day

As part of our Let’s Talk! series, we will be hosting several sessions in Professional Development designed for artists and craft-makers.  The first session is dedicated to the topic of creating a free website using the Weebly platform, which is a simple, user-friendly system - in fact it’s the same platform the Gallery uses for its own website!  During the evening we will provide an overview of how to set up the site and go through the different functions it offers.  While suitable for all skill levels, this session is designed especially for for those who lack programming and html skills, but who are interested in setting up a simple, easy to use website that they can update anytime and anywhere, without the help of an IT specialist.

Participants may find it helpful to bring their own laptop to follow along and paper & pen to keep notes.
